Privacy policy
We process personal data when you request a quote, ask for a callback or apply for a job.
Last updated: 15 September 2026
Controller
The controller is the AQS group company named in the imprint.
What we process and why
We process personal data for three purposes. We do not sell data, and we run no analytics or advertising before you consent.
- Quote requests (companies)
- If you use the quote calculator or the contact form, we process the contact and requirement details you give us (name, company, e-mail, telephone and the parameters of your enquiry) to prepare your quote and follow it up.
- Callback requests
- If you ask for a callback, we process your name and telephone number to call you.
- Job applications
- If you apply for a vacancy, we process the data needed to assess your application: your name and contact details, the trade and experience you state, and what you tell us about your right to work in Germany. If you attach documents (CV, certificates), we process those as well.
- Optional documents
- Some documents, such as medical certificates or a disability pass, can reveal special categories of data (health). We ask for such documents only where operations require them, and we process them only with your separate, informed consent (see Legal bases).
Legal bases
Every processing operation rests on one of these bases under the GDPR:
- Pre-contractual steps, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR
- Quote requests, callbacks and job applications are steps towards a contract with us. We may therefore process the data needed to answer them.
- Legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR
- For business contact data we also rely on legitimate interest: answering a company's staffing enquiry and keeping a record of that exchange.
- Employment law
- Where German employment law applies to a recruitment, § 26(1) BDSG permits processing personal data for employment purposes, including hiring decisions. For recruitment in Poland the Polish Labour Code applies. Article 22¹ sets out the data an employer may demand, Article 22¹a covers additional data you consent to give, and Article 22¹b requires separate, informed consent for special categories of data.
- Consent (optional items only)
- Two things depend on your consent and are never a condition of applying: keeping your application in a talent pool for future vacancies, and processing special-category documents. You can withdraw consent at any time.
How long we keep data
We delete personal data once its purpose ends. The periods are:
- Applications
- If your application is rejected or withdrawn, we delete the data no later than three months after that decision.
- Talent pool
- We keep an application for future vacancies only with your separate consent, for up to 24 months. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Quotes and callbacks
- We keep business enquiry data for 24 months after the last contact, or until you object if that comes first.
Recipients
Your data reaches our recruitment and sales staff, who need it for their work; the CRM system in which we keep enquiries and applications; and service providers who process data only on our instructions, such as hosting. We disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it. We do not sell data or share it for advertising.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you (Article 15 GDPR), to have it rectified (Article 16), erased (Article 17), or its processing restricted (Article 18), to receive it in a portable format (Article 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Article 21).
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can complain to a data-protection authority (see the next section) or take the matter to court.
Supervisory authority
Our controller is established in Poland, so the competent supervisory authority is the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO). If you are in another EU or EEA country, you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
